This program encourages residential customers and builders to upgrade to energy efficient heating and cooling equipment in participating homes. Rebates are available on air conditioners, air-source heat pumps, dual fuel heat pumps, and geothermal heat pumps. Window units are not eligible for rebates. OMPA will cover 50% of the cost for eligible upgrades through this program, while local municipalities will cover the remaining 50% of the cost. Read all equipment requirements on the program web site or view the program brochure to ensure eligibility. Contact OMPA for other information on this program.
