Summary

Demand Response (DR) programs reward businesses that are able to reduce their energy usage when: Power supply is tightened; Local distribution equipment is approaching capacity limits; and Wholesale power supply prices are expected to exceed $100 per MWh. If you can control loads in your facility, by participating in a DR program you may receive credits toward your electric bill or direct payments from a DR provider. If you are a large electricity customer(over 200 kW peak load) of ours in New England, we can provide you with a demand response audit to help you decide which programs best fits your company. In some cases, we can also provide financial incentives towards projects that increase your ability to capitalize on these opportunities.
