Indian solar module manufacturing company Waaree Energies Ltd. commissioned a 23 MW solar power project at Khetusar-Baap in the state of Rajasthan. The project is owned by Maharashtra Seamless Ltd. (MSL), part of D.P. Jindal. Waaree will supply the power for 25 years to MSL. Waaree Energies is part of the Waaree Group and India’s largest solar PV module manufacturer with a capacity of 550 MW. The company targets to scale up the capacity to 1 GW by the end of 2017.
