One of this is to bundle attic fans with solar installations. Some even offer it as a free gift to customers who purchase PV installations on their homes. 

Adding something tangible to clients helped them seal the deal in many instances.

Moreover, installing solar attic ventilation provides added value to the customer, putting less reliance on the home’s air conditioning system, and lowering even more the utility bills.

How about appliances?

A report last year by the Rocky Mountain Institute suggested solar installers could offer rooftop customers even more savings by bundling solar panels with heat pumps and other electric appliances.

The idea is that this is useful to their clients and also reduces their carbon emissions by eliminating the gas bill at the time through the installation of a heat pump that would take care of water heating, clothes drying and cooking.
