The Turkish regional company of German IBC Solar AG has commissioned a ground-mounted PV plant with a total capacity of 11.4 MW in the province of Mersin. The project's design and installation was carried out by Turkish and German engineers from IBC Solar under the technical supervision of the Fraunhofer ISE Institute. In addition, project partner Deloitte provided commercial consulting during the tender phase. The facility is expected to generate about 17 million kWh per year.

The project complements an existing 4.24 MW rooftop installation, which IBC Solar Turkey has already completed in January 2018 for Tiryaki Agro (as reported).
