Australian solar cell producer Greatcell Solar Limited has signed another funding agreement with the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) for a AUD 6 million (USD 4,5 million) grant under the Advancing Renewables Program (ARP) to support a perovskite solar cell technology development project. According to the company, the grant will assist »in developing a prototype facility in Australia for the fabrication of high quality, large area, current generation and next generation perovskite devices.« The funding follows on from an earlier ARENA grant of AUD 450,000.
