The UK added 12 MW of new PV systems in November 2017, a slight increase from 20 MW added in October 2017 and a decline from 31 MW installed in November 2016, according to the latest figures of the UK Department of Business, Energy and Industrial strategy (BEIS). Provisionally, as of the end of November 2017, overall UK solar PV capacity stood at 12,642 MW across 935,120 installations. This is an increase of 7.7 percent (902 MW) compared to November 2016.
To date, 46 percent (5,810 MW) of total installed solar PV capacity comes from large scale installations greater than 5 MW, with 20 percent (2,526 MW) coming from small scale 0 to 4 kW installations.
