Inverter manufacturer Solaredge Technologies, Inc. achieved revenues of $166.6 million in the third quarter, up 22 percent from the prior quarter and up 30 percent year over year. Operating income was $25.4 million, up 33 percent from $19.1 million in the prior quarter and up from $18.2 million in Q3 2016. Net income was $28.0 million, up 24 percent from $22.5 million in the prior quarter and up from $15.6 million year over year. The company shipped more than two million optimizers (676 MW) in Q3 2017, and has »now shipped more than 20 million optimizers since initiating sales in 2010,« said Guy Sella, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Solaredge. »Sales this quarter from outside the United States were 51 percent of our revenues.« Guidance for the fourth quarter is revenues within the range of $175 million to $185 million.
