US solar manufacturer and developer Sunpower Corp. completed the installation of the 8.79 MW solar system spanning across four parking garages at Toyota Motor North America's new 100-acre headquarters in Plano, Texas. Sunpower was also responsible for the original design of the solar system. Over 20,000 solar panels generate approximately one-third of energy needs at the Toyota campus.
