Eurus Energy acquired two PV projects in Chile

Eurus Energy America Corporation, subsidiary of Tokyo-based investment company Eurus Energy Holdings, acquired »La Esperanza« (9 MW) and »Marchigüe« (9 MW) solar projects from Spanish project developer Grenergy Renovables, S.A. The facilities are located southwest of Santiago, Chile, in the O’Higgins Region. They were built by using Canadian Solar panels, Ingeteam inverters and Clavijo trackers. The projects were commissioned in early 2017. Grenergy will continue to operate the plants through its O&M and Asset Management divisions.

Grenergy Renovables has a pipeline of several PV plants in Chile, Peru, Argentina, Mexico and Colombia with over 1.300 MW in various stages of development. Eurus Energy Holdings, owned by Toyota Tsusho Corporation and Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, Inc., is a global developer, owner and operator of renewable energy facilities, including both wind and solar, with more than 2,735 MW worldwide.
