The inventor’s vision was of enhancing solar awareness and the quality of the community, in the form of a giving tree. Strawberry Energy

Solar energy benches is one of the more practical designs that furnish a place to rest to recharge while using one’s device while learning about the host solar program,  including the bench itself. One solar energy bench developer is Strawberry Energy, based in Belgrade, Serbia. The benches also monitors air quality and noise levels in the surrounding area and include an emergency call button. This innovative firm provides solar trees. The bench is 2.6 meters high and 2.4 wide, and can be moved to different locations. It generates 90 watts, and offers sensors for CO2 level, noise, humidity, pressure, and temperature data, that’s transferred to the cloud for analysis. Another developer of solar benches is called E-Tree. The E - Tree has its own deluxe package. It can be upgraded to include recharging, Wi-Fi, lighting, water for people and dogs, and an interactive LCD screen.The screen links to the host renewables energy program providing public messages and advertising found at the at the bottom of the screen. 
 

The E-Tree 
 
The E-Tree is a very large installation that can stand as high as 4.5 meters and weighs in at 1,250 kg. It puts off 1,400 watts in low voltage DC. All materials for the tree originates from Israel. The firm talks with a manufacturer to create glass-on-glass silicon panels. Each panel is connected to a steel frame, making it one of the more challenging steps to design the connections. E-Tree ranges from $10,000 to $100,000 depending on accessories and upgrades. 

A floral shaped solar station was created by smartflower. The 670 kg smartflower all-in-one system is pre-assembled and resists panel overheating. It unfolds its panels around a dual-axis tracker, yielding 2.3 kW peak. The upgraded version, folds itself down into a ground case, which prevents overnight tampering. The flower has sold in 20 countries that costs about $10,000 with a five year warranty included. For those wanting a storage option, smartflower gives on-grid and off-grid solutions with a 2.3 kW battery bank or a 4.6 kW battery bank. The battery is roughly around $5,000.
