Another advantage of solar power and fighting global warming is that natural ecosystems are better protected from the onslaughts of fossil fuel production. Climate change has created plant extinctions across the world, being blamed for 46% of the extinction of 976 species studied.  Renewable energy is helping in the case of plants, but solar is especially advantageous because of minimal difficulties with installation and performance.

There are also studies connecting nature to mental and physical health.  Being in nature is a form of meditation and tends to foster self-growth and introspection. Solar energy benefits entire communities

Solar power is a straightforward response to global warming which is mostly caused by fossil fuels.  The plan is to cut back the use of fossil fuels and give aid to a critically damaged planet, replacing it with renewable fuels.  But what does this mean to the common person?  The technology behind solar panels is accessible, meaning that solar power can be produced locally rather than requiring big international tech companies for massive large-scale solar operations.  This means that local communities gain new skills with renewable energy and can produce a more sustainable area to live in.
