The growing solar revolution is making fossil fuels steadily extinct, but this is not occurring fast enough to suit the world's climate scientists. The world is undergoing alarming consequences of relying on fossil fuels for our energy demands. Fossil fuels are a type of polluting, environmentally damaging energy. Presently, fossil fuels are the most extensively used energy source in the world. It is used to produce electrical energy but it is also used to create engineering energy (cars, heat engines, etc.) But the truth is, fossil fuels are being burned so much, it causes enormous problems with the atmosphere and the earth. This pollution is the main reason why solar panels were designed, but now there is a financial motivation to get connected to solar energy. Solar is now thought to be one of the best investments a homeowner can make. It's also not wise for business owners to overlook the wise investment of solar energy.
What are fossil fuels?
Fossil fuels are fuels that originate from a process of partial decomposition of organic matter. Fossil fuels start from a transformational process of millions of years of plants and vegetables (causes of oil, coal and natural gas). These are considered primary energy sources since they can be obtained directly from the earth without undue processing.
Fossil fuels are set by the process of partial decomposition of organic matter. It is a transformation process of millions of years due to the pressure that many layers of sediment place on the organic matter. This originated organically due to a fossilization method. Organic matter has not been degraded by microorganisms (which cannot live) but continues in the form of more complex, solid organic molecules ( coal), liquid (oil) or gas (natural gas). The energy of these molecules is what is produced when using them as fuel. This method of millions of years is the one that turns fossil fuels into a non-renewable source of energy since it is used much faster than it is generated.
Scientists found that fossil fuels have a high calorific content that makes them an important source of energy to generate thermal power. The use of fossil fuels has provided economic and demographic growth linked to the industrial revolution of the 19th century. At present they are fundamental to our economy. In 2007, the combustion of coal, oil and natural gas accounted for 86.4% of the world's primary energy. Switching to solar and wind power will dramatically modify the earth’s pollution.
Fossil fuels are highly despised for environmental groups. The combustion of fossil fuels creates a lot of gases. These gases become one of the main origins of atmospheric pollution because they contribute to increasing the greenhouse effect and, ultimately, to global warming.
Today, the use of fossil fuels is a dilemma of sustainability, both for environmental and economic reasons since the planet's resources are inadequate and will one day be exhausted.
Natural gas can be used directly without having to previously convert it into electricity. This feature allows it to have a much higher efficiency of 91.2%. Its storage is cheaper and easier than coal and petroleum products.
There has never been a better time to install a solar energy system!
