This contaminates the water used, along with nearby water bodies, and also causes earthquakes. Another dangerous method of power is nuclear. Nuclear power pollutes water and land and has caused environmental disasters and excessive levels of radiation in many areas of the world. Since the disaster at Fukushima, governments have been slower to approve nuclear power plant licenses. But there are some nuclear advocates who are trying to fire up nuclear facilities again, despite the dangers.  Solar energy will eliminate these hazards.

Fossil fuel production has resulted in many environmental problems and pristine forests are regularly destroyed for mining raw materials like solar power is important to keep these habitats intact for the animals who reside there.fossil or nuclear fuels. These emissions lead to a rise in global temperatures and alterations in weather patterns leading to a series of unwanted effects. Heat waves and increase in disease-spreading insects cause physical problems especially for vulnerable children and the elderly.

Climate change has led to an increase in flooding and hurricanes due to unsettled weather systems. Higher carbon dioxide concentrations are making oceans more acidic and killing marine life. Global warming causes the extinction of many species, from the smallest to the larges. Higher temperatures result in melting of polar ice caps, diminishing habitats for wildlife and also increasing sea levels. This result is submersion and loss of land along the coast, displacing people.
